code of conduct

No-Phone Zone

Bathhouse is a no-phone zone for the privacy of all guests. Please leave your phone in your locker. Cameras, filming, and photography are never permitted. We encourage everyone to unplug and recharge. If you need to take a phone call, please do so in the restaurant/lounge area.

RINSE BEFORE YOU SOAK

Please rinse before utilizing any of the pools or saunas.

INDOOR VOICES

You don’t need to whisper, but please be mindful of others' experiences especially in the saunas and steam room. Bathhouse is a fun place but please do not shout.

Robes

It’s not traditional for people to wear robes at a bathhouse. If you're more comfortable wearing one and you would like to bring your own robe that is totally cool–but Bathhouse does not provide robes. In our experience, robes are common in the spa world, but not in bath houses. It is not advisable to wear a robe in saunas or pools.

FOOTWEAR AND TOWELS

We recommend wearing Bathhouse-provided slippers in the saunas as the floors may be hot or slippery. Please do not wear slippers in the pools. We also ask that you use the towel hooks provided while using the pools.

PDA/DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR

Most guests visit us in pairs or a small group. It’s a fun place to hang out with your friends or significant other but be mindful of those around you with PDA. If you wouldn’t do it in front of your grandma, don’t do it here, whether around other guests or our staff. It’s ok to strike up conversations with like-minded bathhousers, but not a place for speed dating. Just be cool.

SERVICES

Cool off before you enter your treatment. We recommend leaving the steam and sauna rooms at least 15 minutes before your Massage or Scrub treatment. This allows your body to cool down so you are not sweating on the treatment table.

Please treat our practitioners with common courtesy and mutual respect. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

INTOXICATION

We do not allow guests to push the limit of alcohol consumption and enter the pools or saunas if they are visibly intoxicated or appear visibly under the influence of a substance. Any guests in violation of this policy will be asked to leave immediately. Drink responsibly and be mindful of others and your own safety.
